Marlow Regatta

This June, UoNBC sent 3 crews down to Dorney lake. This is an essential regatta in the rowing calendar as it allows a final opportunity for fact finding before one of the biggest performance goals of the year: Henley Royal Regatta.

Results are as follows;

1st 8 – 5th in final F (1st in Teir 2 Academic 8+s)

2nd 8 – 2nd in final N (13th in Teir 2 Academic 8+s)

3rd 8 – 6th in final J (4th in Teir 3 Academic 8+s)

With the summer season in full swing, we were ready to utilise our last week of training in Nottingham to the fullest in preparation for Henley. As we begun to close out the academic year of racing, we reflect on all the successes we, as a club have had this year, ready to give our best efforts at HRR Qualifiers.
